Gland Packing Asbestos PTFE
The function of packing is to control leakage, not to prevent the whole
leakage, because packing must always be lubricated and leakage is recommended to maintain
the presence of lubrication is around 40 to 60 drops per minute. Lubrication method on packing
depending on the condition of the liquid being pumped and also the pressure on the stuffing box.
Gland Packing Asbestos PTFE
When the stuffing box pressure is above atmospheric pressure and the liquid is pressed clean and not corrosive. This baffle is Gland packing or Compression packing or packing is created as
sealing device is shown in Figure 3 b, but because it has to drip,
then it is more appropriately referred to as a restrictional device.
